The cornerstone of my healing practice is Bowenwork. Having a tool bag of other methods of healing allows me to offer something to help shift the body when it's stuck or "numb". It has been said that Bowenwork starts where other methods leave off. That might mean that it's just time to be finished with the condition and the body is more receptive to the gentle balancing Bowenwork. A few things I know:
- Practitioners and therapies don't fix you. You fix you!
- I will facilitate your healing, jumpstart your changes. Once your body remembers what balance feels like, your life will feel so different!
- You will experience changes in your body and will have improvement which happens most often after the very first session.
- For some it is quite dramatic and for others it is more subtle.
Your body is designed well and came into this world with innate wisdom to heal itself. It is my believe that the body's lines of communication become distorted and interrupted with the excess "noise" of injuries, poor nutrition, psychological and emotional damage and other disrupters lodged in your cells. When we become ill, it is a late sign of imbalance, which can be detected first in the sublte energy field by those who can see and feel it. You can think of it like an orchestra down in the pit tuning up their instruments. It's very difficult to listen to those noisy, out of tune horns, but when they are in tune and play as a team..it's beautiful...magical.

In treating the body as a whole, noticing the mental, emotional, psychological, psychic and spiritual layers in addition to the physical layer, your body can be allowed to restore itself to balance and homeostasis down to the cellular level.
